"YAHTZEE IS ADDICTIVE!!!"
This thing is great. But addictive. It's exactly the same as real Yahtzee, unlike some of the other handheld games. The battery doesn't last all that long, though, and it's a watch battery so it's not as handy as it might be. Good toy for passing time in waiting lineor whatever.

"New White Electronic Yahtzee"
This handheld is just as much fun as the original Red & Yellow version. The case is now White (does not look as shown in the picture) and a bit thinner, however, the layout of the buttons and the play is just as intuitive and addicting.

"AMAZON IS DECIEVING!!!"
The picture shows the nice gold model. What I recieved wasn't even close to that! I got some white cheap model! Amazon is refunding my money, but be careful when you buy!!!

"Lots of fun"
I love this game. I am a fan of playing the game with actual dice, but I think the handheld is even better. It's very addictive. It is very durable, the buttons are very solid and I haven't had any trouble with them. The battery also lasts a very long time. I've had my game for over a year and never changed the battery yet. It's true, once you start playing this game, you won't want to put it down. I keep saying "Just one more...okay, NOW just one more..." I definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys the original game.

"Killing Time"
I've owned a hand held Yahtzee for many years and finally had to replace the original because the keys were so worn that they began sticking. I have a high game of 702. My only criticism lies in the scoring strategy of the original creators in that i think small straights are rated too highly in degree of difficulty.
Many years ago I owned and played the original game by throwing dice and keeping score manually.
It's a great pastime to keep me occupied while watching the inane selection of TV shows available in this day and age.

"Good value game", We have owned several handheld Yahtzee games over the years. They all tend to wear or break over time, but that's not a big surprise for this price range. The is certainly great, because who doesn't enjoy Yahtzee? They have changed the buttons a bit from their previous models in both orientation and type (used to be more of a rubber material instead of plastic). I like the newer design (thinner, white, shiny plastic).

As for the quality, everything appears to be in very good shape. One month into owning the handheld, pushing one or two of the buttons would cause the screen to dim or go off. Amazon was quick to replace it, as always. I think it was a rare defect and wouldn't expect it to happen again. Excellent game, especially for travel. Recommended!

"Yahtzee hand-held game", I bought this for my husband who had a hand held game of Yahtzee for several years. His worn out and he asked me if I could find him another one. I told him Amazon would probably have one. I ordered him one and he is loving it.

"Good product", I really enjoy the electronic hand held Yahtzee. I had one for years and it wore out and I replaced it with this one.

"Yahtzee", My sister bought me this game when I was in the hospital 3 years ago and I played it constantly the whole time I was in there. Became addicted and now play a few games every night. The batteries lasted maybe one month short of 3 years, amazing since it doesn't seem to turn off and when I replaced the batteries I didn't lose my high score in the memory.

"Bad product", Keys are flat and hard to use. The 2 units I ordered/received DID NOT MATCH what was pictured on the web page, now showing these awful units. I talked to a rep who promised to make it right and go two more of the white inferior units which are in the process of being returned. I have printed off a return postage label and will expect my FULL price refunded as all 4 units are unopened. Otherwise, I will contest my credit card. I have done a lot of business in the past and am still a loyal customer, so I think you will do the right thing and a little gift certificate for bringing this to your attention would be nice too.

"tons of fun!", I agree with most of the other posters. This really is a great handheld. I have owned it for years, and absolutely love it. My top score so far is 692 (5 yahtzees) (no, I'm not kidding). I think it's been more than five years and the battery still keeps going strong. The casing is extremely tough and durable and stands being knocked about a bit. It's a great inexpensive gift for anyone who enjoys this classic game.

"Hand Held Yahtzee", I purchased the Hand Held Yahtzee game and it's great. It's easy to play, easy to carry in a purse or pocket, and is very relaxing. It kills time while waiting for appointments, or just sitting on the patio after a long work day. Anyone who enjoys the dice game of Yahtzee should enjoy the hand held version.

"It's Yahtzee... OBVIOUSLY it's great! ", It's wonderful... you can turn the sound off and play for hours. My husband does on our plane trips :)

"Surprisingly Addictive", okay so I'm a computer geek who admittedly is addicted to high tech games, fantasy worlds,slaying dragons,etc.

I bought this game for my neice thinking to divert her attention on the occasion when I babysit.

Imagine my surprise when I myself became addicted to it (yes I had to order another one for her...er me (sheepish grin).

I highly recommend this one. I take it everywhere when I have to wait and wait...auto shop, doctors office, yes even in a long checkout line at the grocery store (you can turn off the sound..I'm not *that* anti-social).

Anyway, you wont regret your purchase.
