"It's David Bowie Of Course It's Gonna Be Good", I highly, highly, highly recommend this cd/ soundtrack. It is one of the best I've ever heard. Being a David Bowie fan and having seen the movie, I loved his songs and bought it just for that, but the sound effects and all of the other tracks are as mystical as the movie. ""A LOST LOVE"", I ACTUALLY GREW UP WATCHING THIS MOVIE AND TO THIS DAY STILL OWN IT. THE MOST MEMORABLE SCENES WERE ALWAYS THE ONES WITH THE SONGS. "A really fun c.d.!", I used to watch this movie at my grandma's when I was little and listening to the soundtrack takes me back. It is the best music! Even though I enjoyed it as a child I still enjoy it now . It's has the perfect blend of music. I used to like Chilly Down and Magic Dance the most , now I prefer Underground and As The World Falls Down!

"Great item - Very enjoyable", If you have the movie, you will love this CD. My daughter likes to play the CD while watching the movie! (Well, she is only 6) However, my son & I also love both this & the movie. One of David Bowie's best!

"Magic Dance", This is an electrical and fantastic soundtrack of the wonderful fantasy movie of 1986, starring Jennifer Connoly and DAvid Bowie, Labyrinth.

From start to finish it is electrical and rich in fantasty rock and some electronic instrumental music too.
This album includes the beautiful song of loneliness and hope, Underground, the catchy and super Magic Dance, the fun and cheeky Chilly Down, the gentle As The Wall Falls Down and the romantic Within You.
This album was proof that Bowie was still one of the greatest talents of the musical world by 1986, and had lost none of his ability to create beautiful and enchanting music.
David Bowie is a living legend.


"It's Only Forever", The first time I saw The Labyrinth I was 7 or 8, probably 1987/88 Rotterdan, on tv and it really blew me away. It has a fairytale quality, a beautiful world of make-believe, truly wonderful. Years later, 2006 I went to the local fantasy shop (which has unfortunately moved from Rotterdam to Delft), saw the special DVD box with special drawing cards inside and bought it then and there. In that very same year I also bought the soundtrack.

While the "Opening Title" transports you to The Labyrinth, "Into The Labyrinth" makes you want to walk inside and be lost forever.
"As the World falls down" and "Within You" are both beautiful and haunting, showing Jareth's desperation and (maybe) love for Sarah.
"The Gobling Battle" is a blast, "Home at last" makes one feels like it is a preparation for the BIG Party in "Underground".

"Electronic but fantastikal", It has some moody pieces, but also some bright. I still think David Bowie would have made a good Vampire Lestat. He was an excellent Goblin King.

"Great 80's music from a fun 80's movie", David Bowie's soundtrack from the movie is pretty much what you expect: if you've seen the movie Labyrinth, you've heard the soundtrack. As a longtime fan of the film and an unabashed child of the '80's, I still enjoy it. I only wish they'd included a lyrics sheet.

"LABYRINTH IS NOT JUST FOR WOMEN", I have to disagree with the first reviewer of this film/soundtrack. This movie/soundtrack appeals to EVERYONE'S fantasies and imagination. The Soundtrack is amazing as is the movie. Entertaining to anyone wether it be male or female. David Bowie is amazing and proofs it in this soundtrack.
