"Good nuts 'n bolts book"
Was getting started on ebay and looking for some guidance. This book combined with ebay's on-line tutorial is loaded with enough information to get a new ebay seller headed in the right direction. Would recommend to anyone contemplating selling on ebay.

Skip Mc Grath takes you step by step from a beginner, to a seller in a very short time if you read and put into practise his instructions.
He also tells you what to sell on eBay giving you a lot of ideas where to find what is easy to sell and how to promote it.
I would recommend this and other books published by this author to anyone who wants to make money on eBay, because he really know what he is talking about. And for my understanding he is a born teacher because he has the pacience to explain in detail what to do and how to do it.

I don't review books unless I genuinely like them, and I liked this book. The concrete, clear steps are excellent. I decided to use this book in teaching college students how to use the Internet more effectively.

"eBay Profits", There are quite a few good suggestions in this book, however, the eBay website has been re-designed since this book was published. This is a bit confusing when the author refers to parts of the eBay website that no longer exist or exist in a different format.

"Warning: NOT for casual sellers", I was looking for a book that would help me navigate the shoals of selling on eBay, but only for a few dozen personal items per year at most.
This book is for someone who plans to open an eBay business and make all or most of their living off it (buying wholesale in large quantities, drop-shipping, etc).
I'm sure it would be very good for such a person, but for me, I need to look for another, simpler book. However, this book seems very comprehensive for someone opening a large eBay business, so I think 4 stars is fair.

"WOW!", I'm not even halfway through this book and already I'm blown away with how much information there is. Skip doesn't hold back at all; this book is for serious people who want to be successful sellers.

"Excellent guide", Well written comprehensive guide to getting started on E-bay. You do have to actually put the effort and creativity into any business to make it work. But, if you follow the outline of this book you will have a better chance of making it work. This book also contained unique information by the author. It dovetailed with the other books I bought by the same author.

"very good info to start with and on", I've read this book and it's concentrate how to start and how to keep gooing on ebay cave.recommended.

"If you have the will, Scott has the way!", Just a note. I took Scott's book out at the library, and had to buy my own copy. He has lots of information that's useful, even for a 5 year sometimes EBay seller.

"Another one of Skip's fine books", The author speaks from experience when he writes about eBay and you can tell when you read his books. I have every one of Skip's books near my desk as a reference. The author also publishes a blog that continues to keep you updated.

Book well worth the money and time to read if you are in a rush to get on eBay. The experienced eBay seller will want to skip thru the first couple chapters as they mainly are for the beginner. If you are a beginner... this is the book for you to excell.

Without a doubt, anyone reading it will be able to set up their Ebay account and get running in the time ascribed.

"Jam packed with information!", I cannot say enough good things about this book. It is packed with all the information anyone needs to get started running an eBay business. Each chapter gets you more and more excited to get it up and going. My sister and I decided to start an eBay business together, and we have been following all the steps in this book. We especially like how Skip McGrath walks you thoroughly through each step. We just bought our first lot of products through a wholesaler and can't wait to put up our first auction on eBay.
