"I Created an Entire Screen Printing Business With This Book!", In the early 1980's I started a screen printing business out of my home. I purchased How to Print T-shirts for Fun and Profit by Scott Fresener and Pat Fresener. This is the bible of screen printing. It is the best "how to" book I have ever purchased. With this book I started a part time screen printing business; and for a while, a full time business. I had the business for over a year.

The book taught me a common sense approach on how to build a screen printing business from the ground up, the equipment to purchase and how to price and market the products. It also showed me where to buy shirts, and caps, inks and other supplies. It was only 175 pages long, but was full of ideas, resources and illustrations. Few words were wasted!

I think this version is probably much more powerful than the one I used!

"Print T Shirts For Fun & Profit", A brilliant book with all the how-tos required by a budding home-business owner and it shows you how to easily print teeshirts for fun and profit just like the title promises.

Can't recommend this book highly enough.

"Its somewhat informative", This book has good information but I would try to find it used as it is a bit pricey. If you really want the information try to go to a local tradeshow. That seemed to help me more than the book.

"Too much information for me....", The book is very thorough. It covers many areas that I did not understand and really do not care to understand. I feel the book would be a lot better if the authors cut out some of the maze of technical jargon and explanations. Maybe I am just a bit too basic because all I wanted to do was prepare and print basic, no frills tee shirts. The book definitely has enough technical information to do any type of tee shirt silkscreening. Be prepared for information overload.
I definitely found out that printing tee shirts is a lot more complicated than I thought. Not only complicated, but the equipment to do the job is expensive. The book talked me out of silkscreening tee shirts for a hobby.

"Most Comprehensive Screenprinting Book Around", If you wanted to learn how to screenprint for either a hobby or for a business venture, STOP!! Look no further than this book. This is the most comprehensive book I have ever read dealing with the business of screenprinting. Not only does this book give a fantastic overview of how to screenprint, it also contains examples of forms, blueprints for making a 4-color machine, sample store set-ups, how to market...you name it!! It is worth every penny and then some.

"dont bother with other books", I have been reading other books on the same subject. This one takes the cake, I found it to be the most informative and user friendly of all I have read. If you need to know anything about screenprinting, or you are considering getting into the business this is the book to buy!

"Great book", It has everything you need to know about screen printing. also an extensive list of merchants to purchase through.

"The t-shirt makers bible", If you have an interest in printing t-shirts for your own enjoyment, or you have ideas of starting up your own 'a bathing ape' style empire, then this is all you need. I found it extremely well written, easy to understand and informative. From the basics of what screen printing is, all the way through to printing 4 colour process to index colour processes. In-depth descriptions on how to make your own screens and light boxes, techniques, everything! Well worth the money!
