"Simple, Durable, Compact"
This is a great tool for anyone that wants to monitor their weight lifting progress. This would not be a good tool for someone doing cardio or other aerobic type of exercise. The pages are easy to track your progress, there's space to write your specific workout activity, and you can quickly mark the day, date, and time of workouts. Each page has a section for daily weight, workout level (was it a fair, good, great, or poor workout), number of reps, and sets.

What I really like about this book is the pages are thick and sturdy. You can throw it on the gym floor, keep it in your gym bag, and it will withstand the punishment. It's been a simple and effective tool for me and as soon as I fill this one up, I plan on buying another one!


"Awesome workout partner"
I ordered this book from Amazon after reading a few reviews both on here and other sites online.

The book has everything you need for strength training sessions. There is only a small space at the top of each page to record any cardio training you do, so this might be a deterrent for some people. However, I find it more than adequate as you can just put down, say, that you did a spin class, hour on the treadmill.....etc.

If I lost this book I'd immediately buy another one.

"If You Are Serious About Your Work-Outs, Buy This Log"
This work-out log is very well organized without being "busy". It has room for 6 sets of 15 exercises per day so whether you lift for mass or circuit train this log book has every thing you need. Highly recommended.


"Good reference"
This book is a journal for logging your workout history.

Good information - however, each page is just one day so there is some wasted space.

Other than that - excellant lay out and content. The title says it all.

This workout book is well formatted for keeping track of workout exercises/weights/reps. Other log books have not been as easy to use.

"so damn practical", This book is perfect as a workout log.If you are serious about your work outs then get this.You dont need fancy calorie counters or an aerobics section but every thing you do need is in here.Its just so damn practical.

"It works for me.", This book is great. It's the right size,is durable,and has plenty of space to write your exercise, the reps and the weight. "Perfect for.....", This journal is perfect for a bodybuilder. Plenty of room for high volume training; bodypart measurment log; goal setting. This is not a general fitness journal. There are no pages specifc to diet or cardio and there is minimal room for notes. Enjoy.

"Perfect for my needs!", I must keep track of my workouts in order to track my progress. I have always just used a little notebook to write them out, but this book is great. It is designed very practically for the serious minded exerciser. It is not meant for cardio only, it is definitely for weightlifting.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Great to Get Organized at the Gym", This workout book is great to help you get organized with your workout program at the gym. I love the fact that is has so many pages so I can keep many workouts in there at once and not have loose papers all over. You can put the exercise, the date, the reps, etc. Well worth the money.

"Just what you need", This is perfect for working out, its small, has spiral, and very durable. Very durable, I've routinely tested it, unintentionally. The major reason this log is great is the fact you write in most of your information. The days aren't already printed in the log, so you can be even more accruate of how you workout. One page consists of the following: three different rows to record your cardio activity, about 16 excercise rows where you would record the name of the particular excercise that you'll be dong, you heard right sixteen! Each row has 6 columns to record your sets, with boxes labled "Reps" and "Weight". And to top it all off, a notes section on the bottom. Belive me when I tell you, you will soon be giving this log 5 stars as well, when you see all the other garbage logs out there. Have a great workout.

"Into strength training? Look no further . . .", This is the best workout log I have come across. It doesn't have alot of extra fluff in it about nutrition and excercise examples/photos -- it is just your basic workout log. If you are a serious fitness enthusiast and regularly do strength training and cardio, you already know how to do the exercises and don't need that extra stuff contained in other journals that I've seen. You will not be disappointed with this workout log if you are serious about your excercise.

"Good, but not perfect", This log is geared to serious weight lifting. It is meant to be used one page per day, but as I don't do six sets of anything, I can use one page for about a week, if I put two sets on one line. In addition to the weight training exercises, I list my cycling, pedometer or running each on a separate line and then enter the miles, steps or minutes, as the case may be. Filling out the log book is a great motivator and I recommend this one as easily adaptable to fit a variety of needs.

"Great workout Log", I use this 4 times weekly and love it. I purchased many other workout logs before this one and this is the best one by far. No useless pages and no wasted pages if I miss a day or only do cardio. Book is sturdy considering I keep it in gym bag and carry it around the gym. Sturdy cover and pages for spiral book. Would purchase this again once current log fills up.
