"Remarkable Book!", If you want to learn how to actually DO a sensual massage from head to toes, there is no better book you can buy than "The New Sensual Massage." The author's sensitivity and love for this wonderful art, comes through on every page. You are taken step by step through every phase of a complete body massage, but the best thing about the book is the way you can use it right away to do a little bit of massage. Then you can add to your small massage as you learn more technique. All the massage strokes are clearly explained and illustrated with terrific photography and many anatomical illustration, which are based on the photos. You really have the feeling that the author is talking to you and guiding you every step of the way. He even tells you how various strokes will feel to your partner. The people in the photos look beautiful. Massage is a great thing to know because it really does work. I realize now that there is no need to hire a pro when you can learn how to do this yourself so easily.

No hype here, this is a book to keep and treasure. This is also a great book to give as a romantic gift, because it shows how much you care about your significant other's pleasures.

This book does offer pictures to guide how the strokes should go.

"Decent, needs to be updated", From first glance the pictures look a lil outdated, with most of the massage techniques based on the man giving the woman the massage. Overall very good and in depth as well as easy to read.

"The massage book to get", Definitive knowledge coupled with an extremely beautiful presentation makes The New Sensual Massage the one book you simply have to own if you are a massage lover. Many of the photos and virtually all of the art is museum quality. The best part is the way the book becomes part of an larger experience, a massage you can do yourself for your loved ones. My highest praise and recommendation for this one!

"Okay, but kind of one sided", This is a great book if you're a man and want to give your significant other a great massage, but it's clear that a man has done all the photography. My husband and I had to laugh when we noticed that all the women are pictured full frontal while all the guys are shot from the back! I have since found that most massage books follow that same philosophy. It's interesting that, given the century and the subject material, a photographed (...) still seems to be taboo. I finally had to order a book aimed at gays in order to get actual pictures and how-tos on giving my partner a sensual massage.

"Easy and informative.", This book tells how to massage every part of the body. Scalp to toe. It's divided up by body section, so if you just want to do a back massage or a hand and foot massage, you can flip to that section and learn in a few minutes. There are beautiful pencil drawings of the inner workings of various parts of the body, where the most nerve endings are in the foot, which muscle is responsible for neck pain and some headaches (it's not in your neck), etc. He also talks about atmosphere and mood, which type of stroke is best used where, and what not to do during a massage (always important).

I work with my hands all day and my husband sits in an office chair. I find my hands feel LESS tired and stiff after I give him a back massage, and I usually lose track of time. What starts out as a quick 5 minutes lasts at least 20.

I became an expert at back massage after one reading. After my first try, my husband was so relaxed he was fast asleep before I got back from washing the oil off my hands. And he usually tosses and turns for at least an hour!

"AWESOME BOOK", This wonderful book provides the reader with a step-by-step guide to the sensual world. It's well researced and exquisitely illustrated. This book works as well for the massage professional, as it does for the novice(my husband). It's Gordon Inkeles' masterpiece.

The book contains easy to follow instructions that cover total body massages with lovely nude photography throughout;like an art book! The massages are all romantic, sexy and very sensual. The book not only explains and shows how to massage the back, head, arms, legs, and body, it also explains how to target certain muscles, tendons, nerves and circulation, as they're being massaged. The book also covers massages for stress control, erotic touching and much more. The anatomical illustrations are breathtaking. Inkeles knows massage better than anyone else. I own all his books; this one is the best. I highly recommend it.

"The compliments I get speak for themselves", The greatness of this book isn't in the writing but rather in the compliments you'll get after using the techniques. "That's a better massage than the one I got from a masseuse" was the response I got the first time I used the techniques in this book, which also happened to be the first time I ever attempted to give a real massage. If your goal is to give pleasure through massage this book will be the only one you ever need. The techniques described are simple and intuitive. The recipient of your massages will be very pleased and you will be equally pleased having given someone so much pleasure.

"Excellent Massage Book!", I bought this book thinking to spice up the bedroom and was pleasantly surprised that it was NOT what I was expecting! It will be added to my collection of massage books for the excellent relaxation, tension relief, and headache relief, massage techniques shown in the book. An excellent book for learning these techniques and many more like them! A good way to add non-sexual spice to the bedroom!
