"Buying another one to extend my recipe collection!", This book will fit on any bookshelf. It has such a cute style, and has great pockets for keeping those tester recipes before they officially go in "the book." This book has been the single motivator in my getting back in the kitchen (boy, has my husband been glad he made this purchase for me, at my own request!). There's not a ton of room, but it allows you to prioritize and keep those great recipes you want to use again and again, and eventually pass on. It's also nice to be able to control the number of pages in each category. This is much better than a recipe box.

On the downside, it would be nice to be able to choose your own categories, for instance, drinks, sauces, and breakfast items. I'm finding my MISC area filling up before anything else. There are also what seem to be a sufficient number of pages in this book, but for me, it's still not enough.

This book fills up fast. There are a fair amount of pages per category, perfect for someone just starting out their own collection. Are you an experienced cook that has a ton of recipes that need some great organization? Buy two of these! That's what I plan on doing and that way I can make my own additional categories, but still stick to this book's helpful format!

"Can't turn pages!", This book is cute, but, there are too many pages in it for the size of binder they use. It is impossible to even turn the pages. I am going to have to remove several of them before I can even use this book. I was disappointed.

"Fun and practical!", My hip 28 yr old daughter wanted a "retro"/vintage cookbook where we would write in family recipes in each person's handwriting for her birthday. This cookbook incorporated tradition with fun. One of the divider pages had a quote about the fact that eating is so important to our culture, it's no wonder cookbooks outsell sex books 3 to 1. My daughter loved it! The category dividers are at the top of the book which is different. The pages are high quality and easy to write on and even my longest recipe fit on the page. The loose-leaf quality is excellent because we have more recipes for appetizers and desserts than we do for pastas so we could put pages in different sections. We really enjoyed this book which appears to be high quality and will last for years to come. Her sisters now want to scan the handwritten pages so they will have their grandmothers' recipes too!

"Needs some work", This is a cute idea with the 1950s kitschy theme, but it needs some fine tuning. The size is smaller than a photo album which is handy, but that doesn't allow for a lot of room to write recipes.

The photos and quotes are cute. There are sticky pages where you can paste photos or recipe cards. But again, this book is a scaled down version so an elaborate recipe won't fit on one side. The folders seem a little skimpy if you have a lot of recipes from magazines and newspapers, but for me (not a big cook) it works.

They could've left out the pasta section and separated the vegetables from the side dishes. I think there are too many recipes to combine them into one section. Overall, it's a cute original funky theme. But it lacks room for hardcore cooks.

"Loved it.", Put together recipes for my daughter-in-law's bridal shower. She loved it. It's a wonderful shower gift.

"Great Keeper!", I love the setup, its easy to flip to different sections, and there is a place to stick recipes in each section that one hasnt gotten to transfer over yet. The only thing I could find wrong with it was the space to write down ingredients in was kind of small, and it came to me one ring is permanantly bent open. However, I have big writing so that one thing could be my own fault :-D

"What's Cooking? A Recipe Organizer", I really like the organizer, but I agree with one of the other reviews that the pockets need to be reinforced.

Also, I am already in need of filler pages. There isn't enough black recipe sheets for a person who would want this type of organizer. Where can I get more blanck recipe sheets? It is an odd size, so you really need to be able to purchase them from the manufactuer.

"a great way to get organized", I got this after I happened upon it and realized that everytime i tried to de-clutter I ran into tons of cut out and computer printed recipes all over.

It helps to have somewhere to put all of these things. I *would* like it to be bigger and have more space for recipes of differnt types. That said, its pretty adorable and functional.

For the cost, it was a good purchase and can sit on the book shelf with the rest of my cook books. I can imagine this as a good gift for a bridal/engagement shower, a person moving into an apartment for the first time or a child going off to school. Filling it with some of your favorites would be an extra nice touch.

"Women dressed as Women", Heads up, I am the photographer and I can vouch for it, these are women, dressed as women.

"Men Dressed as Women in the Kitchen", Here's a heads up! This book contains pictures of men dressed as women which is not clearly explained in the information about the book. All of the pictures (on each food type divider and cover) are of men dressed as women.
