This is a really amazing visual dictionary..

"Excelent for your child!", This is very beautiful encyclopedia for your child, a lot of pictures and clear description. So helpful for children and their parents :o)...

"Visual dictionary- not so visual", Good lay out and high quality paper. Pictures are fine. But more like a small encyclopedia than a dictionary. Major drawback is small font letters, not easy to read.Bit disappointed, could have been better.

"Dictionary with Eye Candy", I purchased this dictionary for someone else, and they were thrilled with the content and pictures. I personally have an older dictionary like it, and think that having the visual references is fantastic. Words are important, but, as the old saying goes, "a picture says a thousand words". Sorry, Merriam, but we art-types love those pics!

"Wonderful Visual Resource", Our son found this dictionary and purchased it himself. As a deaf student, he has poured over the pages with delight. It is a wonderful reference for those with language problems, learning disabilities, and the curious in general. We were so impressed we donated 25 copies to our son's school for classroom use. The students and teachers have loved it!
