"Great book AMAZING CD-ROM", This book is fantastic for all the reasons the other reviewers gave, but oh that's not all...the CD-ROM is fantastic really amazing. It's a great way to see the muscles again in another view. The images are of computer generated models to show the attachments and then there is a video of a therapist massaging the muscle. It took me months to watch this CD-ROM because I had no idea it was going to be this great. Buy this book it's well worth the money. Plus, it's a business expense!

"Basic Clinical Massage Therapy", This book is so beneficial as reference material. The images are unreal and so specific. At least four therapists I know have bought the book since flicking through my copy.

"Powerful Tool for Massage Therapists", It's like having x-ray vision, this book lets you look at the skin covering muscles while simultaneously watching those muscles being massaged. It's an extremely helpful book that anyone interested in massage or the human body should own, explore, and enjoy.

"The best there is out there...", I have been using 'Doc' Clay's book as a reference for massage work, and it still stands as the best book for helping a therapist 'see' the muscles they are trying to work on.

What you get in this book, is a reference book that shows the client, the therapist's hands on the client, and the muscles superimposed on the picture of the client. This makes this book an excellent reference book for me, as well as a client-education tool. The book takes you through each part of the body, from the head all the way to the foot. In each section, you get a picture, of the area in question, with the ligaments and muscles superimposed on. You will also get a picture with the therapist's hand/s on and get a good view of what needs to be done.

On top of that, the book does function as a functional anatomy guide, as it does set out in point form, the attachment and action of the muscles in question, the possible referral areas if any, and a guide to other muscles to examine.

Overall, this is a must-have on every therapists desk.

"A tremendous help!", This book has been an absolute necessity for me as a massage therapy student! It has been much better than our required anatomy textbook for getting a good look at and understanding of the musculoskeletal system. "Basic Clinical Massage", One of the most comprehensive massage books, the easiest to read and with THE best pictures - showing anatomy drawings superimposed on photos of clients - in various different positions! Reccommend it to all remedial/deep tissue massage students.

"Best book I've used so far!", This book is the best I've seen so far regarding anatomy and treatment for massage therapists. The illistrations are very easy and clear to understand. This is not the book I was given in the massage school I attended, but it's the one I use and recommend to other therapists.
