Others say...
"good info, poor design" I've only had time to skim through the book but already I am learning things I didn't know before and wouldn't of been able to find without hours and hours of playing. My only gripe about the book would be that it's bigger than a normal sized magazine and therefore very bulky and akward to skim through. I used to have the Sims 2 guide and I found that it was the perfect size to skim through. There is also some either repeat information or information that is completely useless and can be found in the game (the new furniture and their cost, etc.)
"Sims 2 Prima Guide" As with most of the Sims guides, there is a lot of the same information in this one. But, there is still enough new info to make it worth buying.
"Uhhh....Well..." It can be useful but it doesn't have much information and I've heard some say that some of the information about juices are unaccrate. Not really needed unless you're a horrible sim player. So-so.
"Helpful hints" This guide helped us with alot of things within our game. Especially when and what to plant during each season.
"Prima Consistently Delivers" As my wife and I play the SIMS2 and admittedly use reference materials for most video games we play, I find the Prima guides a lifesaver. I've used cheat codes in previous editions to create my own dormitories in "University" and tips for making stores and downtown lots in the "Open For Business" expansion. Advanced users have appreciated stats on social interactions used in "Nightlife" and "Pets". Detailed descriptions are included for new objects issued with each expansion.
Each subsequent guide gives updates on game options and game evolution. Having a physical book helps while engaged in the game. It makes a great companion to the multitude of information found on SIMS2 websites.
The guides themselves are well organized and keep topics clear and easily understandable. They're paperback and are quick to flip through. Although SIMS2 is usually a solitary game, we usually review material while the other is playing, especially when learning a new expansion pack.
The commentary and suggestions made in the guides are a welcome asset to play and this guide is no different. Very cool.

What our customer's say!
"Seasons have arrived!", I live in a climate where the season change so I was happy to see my Sims season change too. I love that you can set your own season; so if you want it to snow all the time you can set that. I love the little add-ons like the sun burn or turning blue if your outside for too long. The details are what makes this game/expansion pack enjoyable.
I'm having a hard time with getting my trees to produce fruit though...
"The best yet", I have been a fan of the Sims since the very beginning and own every expansion but this is the best for the Sims 2. The changing of the seasons really brings reality to the game which is what we Sims fans really want. It feels so much more real to see it snowing or raining. I also love the gardening aspect of the game. You need to really tend to things to get your gardening skills to grow and it's alot of fun. I have all the original Sims games and expansions and also everything for Sims 2 but if I had to suggest only one expansion to get it would be this one. It is definitely the best so far.
"Very Helpful", This guide was very helpful in that it gave insight to a great deal of new things the Seasons Expansion Pack had to offer. Without the guide it would have taken me some time to find and utilize these new features. Knowing about the new features and how they work made gameplay much more interesting. The guide has a great layout for finding things.
"Sims 2: Seasons for the Mac", I've had limited time to play since installing this latest expansion pack to The Sims 2, but when I've played, I've really enjoyed the new features, careers, activities, etc. The added game content is well worth the price of this expansion! If you enjoy The Sims 2, you will definitely enjoy this expansion!
"SEASONS", SEASONS ARE FUN FOR SIMS. THEY GET TO GROW A GARDEN. THEY CAN PLAY IN LEAVES AND RAKE LEAVES AND THEN BURN THE LEAVES. THEY CAN PLAY IN THE SNOW IN WINTER TIME. THEY CAN MAKE SNOW ANGELS, BUILD SNOWMEN, HAVE SNOWBALL FIGHTS, OR ICE SKATING AT THE SKATING RINK. THEY GET TO BE RAINED ON TOO. DON'T KEEP YOUR SIM OUT IN THE COLD FOR TOO LONG OR THEY WILL GET SICK AND THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO SLEEP UNTIL THEY GET BETTER. THIS IS A LOT OF FUN!

"The Sims 2 Guide Book", Like all the others this is yet anyother great game guide book!
"Couldn't play without it.", I've been buying Prima Guides for years and they are great. I don't have the time or patience to figure out all of the ins-and-outs of playing these games so by reading the guide first, I get the main idea and it makes my time playing more enjoyable.
"Finally!!!", I couldn't find this in stores and was really happy to see it on Amazon. The information on gardening is very helpful. The book also cleared up what "Plantsimism" is, and I like the information on the new careers. I would definately recommend this to anyone.
"Anothe Sims 2 Guide", I own all of the Sims 2 guides and this one is just like the others. I only gave it 4 stars because I know there are errors in it. I like knowing about the career tracks and how many skills are needed to attain the next job level. It goes over all the gardening tricks and offers some good advice. The only thing I don't like is there are no cheats in this guide. I don't know if there are no cheats for Seasons or what, but I found it odd. But I think most Sims 2 players would be able to play the game quite easily without this book, but I like having them for reference.
"Informative and Comprehensive", I ordered this along with the game, because I knew I wouldn't figure out 1/4 of the stuff for "Seasons" on my own. I read through the entire guide, and found it all very informative, and for the most part very comprehensive & easy-to-understand (I had to re-read some of the weather information, but just because it got so in-depth). The chapter on gardening (Chapter 4: The Sim's Guide to Gardening and Fishing) was essential for figuring out how to raise good crops, & it has all sorts of interesting hints and tips that I probably never would have figured out myself. I still tend to flip through the book while I play, and help refresh my memory. Not only does it explain about fishing & gardening, & the weather, but also the new plantSims, the new neighborhood Riverblossom Hills & its occupants; Build Mode additions; Buy Mode additions; new Career tracks; new interactions and Socials, & a lot more. For less than $14, it's quite worth it.
