"Great for Sketchup beginner/intermediate users ", I started using sketchup for the past 6 months to illustrate and study my designs before having to make final models. I purchased this book with a knowledge base of the program so it was not a "break-through" guide that it might be to someone else. In any case, this book is a clear guide to this program and what's even better is that the author provides free guided videos on Youtube.com to further assist this book.

This book won't reveal any special tricks or teach expert methods if there are any, but it should definitely be read for any users of sketchup who want to solidify their knowledge base of Sketchup. The only reason I left one star out is because it was as "in-depth" as I hoped~

"Google Sketchup for Dummies", This book helped me to understand the concepts around the Sketchup software. Although I am still doing the tutorials I have been able to model the greenhouse I am building.

"SketchUp for Dummies", Google SketchUp for Dummies is one of the best references I've seen for any software help. Author explains complex 3D concepts in layman terms almost anyone can understand. Practice using his guidance and you'll be amazed at what you can build in SketchUp. Keep this book handy...you'll wonder how you did without it!

"Google Sketchup for Dummies Manual", As an experienced AutoCAD user needing to learn SketchUp I found the book to be well organized and well written. The author knows the software and in addition to explaining how to perform tasks, he points out common reasons people get undesireable results. I am very pleased with my purchase.

"REVIEW FOR GOOGLE SKETCH UP FOR DUMMIES", THIS BOOK WAS EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. THE AUTHOR WAS TOTALY HONEST, HE TALKED ABOUT THE STUFF HE KNEW, SPREAD OUT THE PRINCIPLES IN EASY TO UNDERSTAND CHUNKS, IF THE AUTHOR DID NOT KNOW SOMETHING, HE SAID SO, GAVE REFERENCES TO FIND OUT FOR ONES SELF.

IMHO, A PERFECT BOOK TO START WITH, '10', I NOW HAVE A PRETTY GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF GOOGLE SKETCH UP.

BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK, I WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SKETCH UP.

the type was little bigger, made for less straining to read
the book was bound well, did not split any pages, I carried this book everywhere,

might want to include an interactive dvd, show something, then let the reader copy the action

also, might consider a coupon for a discount on the pro 6, I would take avantage of this offer

"A Great Buy!!!", I have no background in CAD programs at all and my attempts to master SketchUp were futile until I purchased this book. Within a couple of hours I was able to draw a simple building. It's a great book! I thought so much of it, I bought a second copy for my son!

"Just what the doctor ordered!", This book along with the online videos will get you up and running fast. It's see one, read one, now do one. The online videos are the key to doing the book as sometimes the books doesn't contain all the information for completing the project. So you have to write down the dimensions from the video into the book. This is what I did and I was able to follow along with the book and complete the projects. In a word "excellent."

"SKETCHUP FOR ANYONE", Clear , concise, from the basic to the more intense about using what has become a fundamental software for initial 3D viewing of Architectural descriptions and presentations. Sketchup has tutorials that are very useful
but this reference goes deeper into the software and is there when you need a ready reference.

"Just what I wanted!", All the basics in a great format.
Written for beginners as well as the more skilled!

"Google Sketchup review", Overall the book is good and helpful. I was disappointed that it only focused on architectural design and didn't offer much for design like furniture, etc. which is what I was more interested in. Even with that short coming it was well written and very helpful.
