Others say...
"Great eye opener " I went to the book store looking for books on home based information business, and this is a one stop resource. Information has become the hottest commodity to sell, because it can very valuable to consumers and has very high profit margins for creators.
She has infopreneur profiles (people who are already successful), tips for writing information, finding the write information to write about, getting published, publicizing yourself, making online streams of income, establishing a brand for yourself, and a bunch more invaluable information. This is a must have book for all those leaning towards learning about information business.
"Liked this one" I think she did a nice job with this book. Good information that is worth the read.
"Great reference book to start with" I found this book to be a great reference tool for getting me accustomed to the language and media available for online marketing. If I can learn at least two valuable pieces of information from a publication that I didn't know prior to reading it, it makes it worth the price.
Recommendation: if an Amazon book listing has a "see inside" option, take a peek at the Table of Contents. It's a good indicator of whether you can expect general informaton on a topic, or in-depth. Clearly, if the "how to sell a book on Amazon" section is 2 pages long, you can expect generalized content. If you want an in-depth read on that subject, find one written specifically about selling a book on Amazon.
Again, several pieces of information in this read were valuable to ME. I'm sure other newbies to the genre will feel the same way.
Gail Strumberger Author, "Shock Therapy: Planaphobic"
"Loved it!" This book was excellent. I have no idea why there are bad reviews. This book is full of great ideas and useful tidbits, and I've been studying this topic for years. I loved this book because I actually pulled information from it that I could use--if you can pull 5 ideas from a book, then it was worth the time. It was not high-level at all. Most of the books you read on this topic are full of empty promises (You can do it! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Hip, hip hooray!, and all that kind of useless crap). But this author did her research thoroughly. This book was worth every penny. I do not know the author but I look forward to other books by her.
"Book Cover is Golden...A Reflection of the Knowledge Inside" I only have one problem with this book: IT WILL GIVE YOU TOO MANY IDEAS! Every content-filled page carries with it the ability to inspire you with literally hundreds of new income producing ideas and techniques. Luckily the author, Stephanie Chandler, also gave great advice on listing and prioritizing those ideas and start with the best opportunities. Never has a book demonstrated so clearly how easy it is to start sharing your expertise with the world and profit from it quickly.
People who have made it big have great stories but most people are looking for a step-by-step way they can use to make it themselves. This book does a great job at combining just enough theory followed by massive amounts of how-to's.
The author had the insight to include "real-life" infopreneur profiles at the end of each chapter. This adds tremendous value and gives the reader a sense that, "Hey, there really are people out there doing this and they started out just like me."
Another valuable feature is the mountain of resources the author included. She has succeeded with her goal of helping the reader "navigate through the business of selling information." And she is definitely inspiring.
This book will linger in your head long after you've read it. In fact, the information provided is so action oriented with so many ideas and resources, you will have to intentionally keep yourself from making money.
Buy the book. Tell others about it. It just may be the jump start you need!

What our customer's say!
"Great overview of Information Marketing and its benefits", When this book was released, it was the only traditionally published book that covered information products. Still, even with several new books out, this one offers a good basic primer on information marketing. Some have criticized the book for including traditional and hard copy content creation, but in fact those were the original information products (the booklets bought through mail order or the "course" bought through infomercials). The Internet has made it faster, cheaper and easier to create and sell digital products and Stephanie does include information on how to do this (ebooks, teleseminars, etc). I think it is helpful that she includes the hard copy versions as well as offline marketing information in the book. It makes the book more complete and show just how vast the information marketing business can be. The book also highlights how these products can be used to help you build a platform, show your expertise and expand an existing business.
"Opened my eyes to the possibilities of online sales", I didn't no much about online sales before I read this book. I was so surprised by many of the ways people are making money online, and now I am trying to emulate them and do it myself.
Some things you might not know!
- One lady sells tips booklets online and makes an extraordinary amount of money. These are not even original tips, but she on-sells them and they are only a few dollars so you end up buying a few. Great idea - use it in your website.
- If you have a book, make it an e-book, then split it into chapters and sell as cheaper products. Includes ideas for multiple ways to use your own content.
- Referred me to "The Publicity Hound" whose e-zine I love and is full of useful information for marketing and publicity
Recommended if you have just started with online business.
"Great Ideas", If you are a writer, or aspire to be one, this book can give you a wider perspective on the possibilities you can create for yourself as an author. The main idea the book presents is to expand your offerings beyond your book and create other related products that you can sell alongside your book.
Examples include seminars, pamphlets, online classes, and coaching. This book is a good resource when you need to stimulate your mind for fresh ideas on growing your writing into a bigger business.

"Having a Book Can Contribute", Every entrepreneur should know how having a book can contribute to credibility, visibility, personal expertise and, uh, the bottom line. For an expansion of concepts found in my own book, "The Expert's Edge," get and read this book too!
"This book promises...and delivers! ", Stephanie Chandler's attention to detail and extensive research clearly paid off in this value-packed resource for anyone looking to provide information on the Internet. The book takes you through a step-by-step process from determining the subjects to write about to online placement that will give you the biggest bang for your buck. She provides a great variety of resources to help anyone get started; no matter their expertise or experience. I highly recommend this book to the Internet newbie or the experienced techie - either way, you'll be thankful you read this book.

Read this reviews before You buy...
"Information Marketing Made Easy", I have read a lot of books on information marketing and most are very sketchy at best. Not so with Stephanie's book. It is one of the few information marketing books that once you are finished reading it you will have a good grasp of how the information marketing business works and you can start making money.
There are a lot of information marketing Gurus that have not been able to communicate information marketing into a easily understandable business model like Stephanie has been able to in her book.
Stephanie has a keen way of showing how any of us can make money in this most unique business.
I owe you big time Stephanie. `Thank You'

"Loaded With Great Info", A great book, and one worth picking up. While I already knew a great deal of the information covered in the book; Stephanie has distilled it even further into easy-to-understand bites. She also digs deep into the specific areas, showing different avenues for marketing that I had never thought of. The infopreneur profiles sprinkled throughout the book was also a great idea, and there is valuable information in those as well so don't skip them! All in all, a highly enjoyable and informative book. I've read it through twice now, and it has earned its place on my shelf of oft-referenced books.
"Best Book I've Read All Year! (And I read TON of Books)", Every year I go through about 200 books not to mention audio CD's and DVD's I watch on marketing, sales, motivation, getting things done and more. This book had some ideas I had never thought of or heard. (And no, I'm not new to this.)
I was really surprised when I got it. From the other reviews, I expected a good book, but it was way better than what I expected.
The profiles of people who have "been there done that" were great. I love reading things like that as I suspect a lot of people do.
Not only did the people who have been successful give a profile of what they've done and more, they even gave step by step of how they did a lot of it.
In addition to the profiles and great tips, there are tons of helpful resources in the book. Pretty much covering all aspects of selling info products in all formats. (Ebooks, printed books, videos, audio CD's, and tons more)
The people who gave it two stars either can't read or didn't get it. (To be fair to them, there aren't a lot of pictures in the book so maybe that's what made it harder for them to understand)
Thanks! Patrick
"Well worth the read", Easy to read and understand. I didn't realise how easy it was to create an eBook or Special Report. This book is short, sharp and to the point with great references. I read it in one weekend, but I continue to go back for more ideas.
"Too Basic", If you're just starting your journey as an infopreneur, than this book is a good starting point. If you've already spent some time researching this industry and/or already have your own publishing business, you already know most of this.
I was very excited to read the book, based on other reviews, but it didn't take me long to realize that I wasn't going to learn anything new. The information is so basic, the author never really gets into any detail about anything. The book can't get you past deciding what type of infopreneur you want to be, because each chapter is so short on concrete how-tos.
What I did like about the book were the interviews with successful inforpreneurs, but I was hoping they were longer. The few tips I picked up were from those interviews, which means they were from other people the author interviewed. Still, if you know nothing about this and are just trying to get an idea of how to go about it, you would probably find the book useful.
