"Astrology Book review", OH MAN!! This book is awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone! :)

"amusing", I found it a fun thing to read on my lunch break and that's about it. There are better books out there, but this one is okay.

"Wow this one is old!", Okay I bought this because I like Martine's other astrology book, "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need". And it truly is the only one. LOL Sexual Astrology is from the 70's when she was no doubt, at the beginning of her astrology quest. It's not a bad book, just outdated. Good thing I only paid 5 bux for it! lol

"Entertaining!", This book is full of 70's sexual astrology terms. It's really fun to read with your friends. It's definitly dated and several of the examples in the book are in no way relevant to today's lifestyles, but it is a fun book to read.

"A very helpful book", This book is very accurate. Why that should be, I couldn't say. What is particularly helpful about it is that it gives a small paragraph about each sign's compatibility with every other sign, including the predicted outcome (such as "an enjoyable affair, but an unhappy marriage," or "an ardent affair, a lasting union"). It mentions why two people will fight, and whether or not they can overcome this. I never thought much of astrology until I read this book, but what especially convinced me is that it read like a road map of my parents' failed marriage. If only they had read this book!

As for myself, I thought I was doomed to romantic unhappiness after the example my parents set. Yet after 10 years of unsuccessful dating, I was finally able to recognize and connect with the man of my dreams because of the guidelines laid out in this book. It has also been helpful for understanding and getting along with my friends and co-workers.

Many people seem to grasp instinctively who their best matches are, and I am never surprised when I look up the compatibility of the happiest couples I know and find that they are a perfect match. But if you struggle in this department, and you need help figuring out what you need in a partner, this book is for you!

Disclaimer: although the sexual descriptions in this book are usually quite accurate, they are also very graphic. If such things make you uncomfortable, I recommend another book by the same author, "The Only Astrology Book You Will Ever Need." It also has information about romantic compatibility, but it is much more tastefully done.

"I can't believe how accurate!", A friend of mine had this book and I immediately bought one for myself after reading about my sign. All I can say is whoa! It not just general stuff you can read in any book or online. Some of the specific things are very accurate. Esp. the part about how to break up with someone of a certain sign! And compatibility? On the money!

"Interesting, but...", I am tired of reading the SAME stuff about my sign in every astrology book.

I think the review written on August 23, 2002 is right on. In addition, this book claims that Leo's are violent spouse-abusers!

Of course, there are some traits that are right-on. But, some traits of every sign apply to me as well. About 1/3 of my sign is correct with me. Astrology is fun to believe in, but I don't take it seriously. Although astrologers try to say they arent't just a bunch of random generazations scrambled around to fit anybody, that is exactly what they are.

"A must for lovers of kitsch", Absolutely hysterical - was the highpoint of our Christmas party, so glad I took it along. Although aided by alcohol this absurd book had us rolling on the floor.

Apologies to people who believe the flimsy chuff that is astrology - but how anyone could take this book seriously is a mystery.

A masterpiece of straight faced nonsense which will make you laugh so much your nipples fall off.

"Sexual Astrology", I have read this book two and three times. I have read about the zodiac sign of my present lover and the zodiac signs of my past lovers. I have even read it to acquire information about potential lovers for the future. I am amazed at its accuracy. When reading my own zodiac sign, I was shocked to read about thoughts I have never divulged to anyone but this writer had them written down in this book. I would like to find other books written by this author, Martine.
